What is a job?

The dictionary defines this as "a paid position of regular employment", which is true. But what makes it different to an internship, or placement, or graduate scheme? Well these are normally aimed at training you in the skills and giving you some specific experience in areas of business that you may need for a job (they are not compulsory to complete before you apply to a job though). Where as a job is using those skills to complete tasks in order to be paid.
